I love a sunburned country

“I love a sunburned country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of rugged mountain ranges,
Of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons,
I love her jewel sea,
Her beauty and her terror,
The sunburned land for me.”

-A poem about Ozland by some Oz bloke

Hahahaha. Oh how I love you Joanna. I think my post might have taken on too much of a serious tone. No I wouldn't say I've encountered any sort of racism this year. Sydney is even more multicultural than Vancouver is and I've had no problems so far.

These are mainly guys who are genuinely trying to compliment me because they're interested in me. But I just find it very amusing...their choice of words...

But wow what a load of crap "white people don't know discrimination." Please.
